We bought a RDX 2015 lately and are confused with the keyless access and door lock.

We have two problems:

1. When we turn off the ign, and leave the car with the keyless transmitter outside the car, the car sometimes would lock itself shortly, and sometimes it would not (even overnight). We are not sure what triggers the auto lock.

2. There are a few times that my wife turns off the ign, and leaves the keyless transmitter inside the car. The door automatically locks itself quickly. Sometimes it's as quick as when my wife walking from one door to another door (just a few seconds). This is a little bit worrisome. Any idea？

In the custom settings, I do see the setting of re-secure door, and it was set to 30 seconds.
