Plastic panels under the RDX
Plastic panels under the RDX
Hi guys,
Can anyone help me with a picture or a schematic that shows all the plastic panels/covers under the RDX (May be when your RDX is on a lift). I think my rdx is missing one panel in the front. This may be causing some rattling since the connecting panels to the missing one are lose. I hope the dealer didn't forget to put it back or something.
Thanks

I don't think you are missing any plastic panels on the bottom of your rdx. There is a thread here about this issue already with the schematic. Once I find it I will post it for you but it has to do with a plastic panel on the bottom of the car from the passengers side to the rear passenger, has loose clips or missing clips. Once I find the schematic I will post it here.
I found a loose plastic panel

I have been having some problems with a VCM noise, subtle vibration and started researching this issue to try to find a fix. Well, I just ordered a new pair of rear shocks KYB to help with the noise but also was checking the RDX from the bottom and found the same problem you describe. The plastic panel below the engine is very loose and it can move freely up and down (if I press up it can touch the engine). I found a couple of loose clips but could not tight them and I am not sure if my RDX is missing the other part to the right; basically it is as if there is a panel to the left side of the engine but the right side (passenger) is completely unprotected. I am almost sure that mine is missing a part
do you have any information on this?
