Passener Side Rattle!

Hi all, new to the forum, sorry if I might have missed this.

Just purchased a new 2014 RDX, less than 500 miles on it and I already have a rattle that seems to be coming from the driver side door (door latch maybe?). It was all the time and now it's on and off again. It's driving me nuts and I know when I take the car in for service, the rattling noise will temporarily disappear just long enough for the service tech to blow off my concerns. I've taken everything out of the vehicle (loose change, sunglasses, etc) so I know it's the car and not something silly vibrating around in the car. I've also folded the rear seats down so I know it's not the latch there.

Usually starts at around 40MPH+. If anyone has had this experience or any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me nuts and incredibly annoying. Thank you.

In order to prove the event to the maintenance, you can record it and playback.

It could be your glove box. Put your hand on it and see if the noise goes away.

One other thing to check is the rear view mirror. Sometimes the noise can be hard to locate. On mine the cable that goes into the mirror will sometimes rattle.

I had a tweeter in the passenger side squeak (small speaker in the door, by the window). It would only do this when the sun was out and the car was warm. When the car cooled down, the noise would go away. After dealer replaced the tweeter and the cover for it, noise disappeared.

Follow up to my original post if anyone has this issue - took the car to the dealership and they fixed the issue in about 10 minutes. There is an Acura issued service bulletin on the rattling. It's not coming from the passenger side door at all but actually originates from under the car on the passenger side - there is a plastic underneath cover that causes the rattle - the fix is to remove it and reinstall with rubber washers.
