I'm new to the Acura community, I just bought a 2013 RDX and I can't figure out the trunk button inside the car...I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it has an issue.

I was able to open the trunk fine from the inside with no issues then switched keys and it stopped working, I found out I was using the valet key which solved the issue, but now it doesn't seem to be working with the correct key. The key fob still opens the trunk and the button inside will close it, but not open it...am I doing something wrong??

I enjoy driving it so far and it was a big step up from the Toyota Yaris I was driving before, but I'm a little nervous after seeing all of the problems you guys are having with the RDX!

When opening the trunk from the inside of the car, you must hold the button for a second or two, rather than giving it just a quick click. Perhaps you are releasing the button too quickly.

Thanks Gregg! I think I figured it out...I wasn't unlocking all doors when pressing the button, only the driver door was unlocked >

 

If its locked, it doesn't open. LoL
