2015 Acura RDX w/ Tech package

Ok boys, just had the AC diagnosed and they want $1200 to replace the parts. Long story short, I can't afford that and have a lot of experience working on cars. Which is why I'm here, I need a little guidance with FSM directions or anyone that has a DIY guide. From a quick search, it looks like the expansion valve is under the dash and glovebox.

Does anyone have an FSM that they could share or a DIY guide that you could send me? Pretty please. My plan is to have the mechanic shop evacuate the Freon and then vacuum and recharge the system once I've installed the parts.

Of course my extended warranty expired about 500 miles ago. Got to love that! Appreciate anyone and everyone's help!

Thanks! I had already found Scotty's video, seems straight forward and that acura video was perfect. Betting its extremely similiar to an RDX.

QUESTION: Can I get away with just replacing the expansion valve and not changing the receiver drier. Possibly they replace these parts in pairs but the car has low miles too.

 

Most time the fix is made by replacing both parts. Rolling the dice to do other wise. Do you fell Lucky ?

I will very appreciate for your input if any to that thread, I do have some side effect after the repair work was done and it is really confusing
