Interior lights with doors open

My dome interior lights do not work with the doors open. The dome light does not work at all, though the bulb looks fine and the multimeter shows no voltage for any light setting with or without the car running. The front reading lights work if you push the button, but not with the doors.

Back story. A week or two ago, we got it back after the B14 service (every wallet's favorite). We wouldn't have noticed the lights because it was day time and we have done almost no driving with working from home, etc. A few days ago the battery was nearly dead, barely started the car, and didn't have enough juice to start it after we had driven for about a half hour (and reparked at home just in case). The test on the battery (aftermarket--the Honda battery died about 3 1/2 years ago) was inconclusive so they decided to give me about half off on a new one. A few days and I notice nothing about the battery, but the interior lights. Some research online suggest it MIGHT be related to having the timing belt job done, and it might be related to a "multiplexer" which might be in the interior fuse box. However, nothing is telling me what the multiplexer actually looks like--all fuse box diagrams are only showing me the actual fuses, not the other little boxes and doodads. And, it might be an issue of a short related to the circuits connected to the infamous multiplexer, so if I could just replace it, the next one might burn out too. Once I figure out where the multiplexer is, it might be simple to check all of it's connections for a short to ground. Much less fun is actually tracing wires I can't really reach to trace the short.
Thanks,
Mike Todd

So why are you not taking it back to them to fix what they broke?

Technically, I didn't notice a problem for a week or so, and so problem may not have existed and they may not have broke anything. People can be very careful about accepting blame and liability, so I thought I would gather as much info as I can. I found a little info that it might be associated with the timing belt, but not a lot. It's also a weekend, so I figured, starting off with a suspected bulb or fuse, I'd just look into those things, which don't seem to be the issue.
Thanks,
Mike Todd

I bet they didn't really break anything, but may have left something disconnected.

Just to make sure, did you check that the interior light control switch up by the moonroof control is set to the "DOOR" position? I got fooled by that switch once!

I imagine he tried that, but if I was a tech, shutting off the master switch would be one of the first things I'd do.
Do the interior lights time out on the RDX? My Honda Odyssey will. How long before it happens may even be adjustable.
I know the fade out timing is.
