Current draw from interior lights circuit

So a while back I noticed my battery was having issues when the car would sit for a while. It seemed fine after long drives so I figured the alternator was good. I replaced the battery and the issue persisted.

Long story short, I used a current testers and found that there was a draw on the battery with the ignition off. I pulled fuses until I found that the circuit for the interior lights was the culprit. I have since left that fuse out without any more problems. Apparently that circuit also controls the keyless entry system.

Electrical draws can obviously be a huge pain to diagnose, so I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and found the cause.

Thanks!

Easiest way is to put your hand on it in the morning with the car off overnight. It shoulf be warm.
