Today, while out the emergency horn went off when I turned on the car. There was nothing I could do to turn it off. I tried the key fob, red button. I pushed everything I could on the dash panel, but nothing worked. It finally went off on its own. When I got home, it went off again when I turned the car off. A small red light began flashing on and off around the same time and never went off until I turned off the car.

Anyone else had this problem? I have a 2013 Acura RDX I bought brand new last year around this time. I'm taking it into the dealer in a few minutes, but I thought I'd check here too.

 

battery might be on its last leg.
it will throw random electrical surges or spikes, causing random shit to start happening!

 

They checked that right away and said the battery is testing perfectly. They've kept it and gave me a loaner for now.

It's only a year old.

 

Im still guessing its the battery.
Acura batteries SUCK.
