Help! My 2018 has a repeated problem with ACC. The car will randomly and uncontrollably brake. Cruise control was not being used. Problem first started on hwy during heavy rain. Automatic locks started going beserk. The brake stays on, the car will start without depressing the brake pedal, the alarm will constantly go off as the car tries to lock itself while ignition is off.
Trusted mechanic changed the brake switch and it seemed to fix the issue but next heavy rain, same problem. Super scary to drive! It led us to believe it was just because he had disconnected the battery to stop the alarm over the weekend that caused a reboot which temporarily fixed the problem? Currently at the stealership going on 8+ hours of inspection without finding anything!
I have seen posts about accords having this issue but I can’t find any fixes?!?
