2018 RDX Rough Start/Idle

Hi there, Had my RDX for almost 3 years now and just starting to experience this.
Currently at 141k kms

Ive had SVCM(vcm disabled) since 60k kms. Recently this winter Ive started to experience rough startup and the engine will die/restart for less than a second on stop and go traffic. also my temp gauge is stuck on cold. My mechanic cant diagnose eit either since theres no engine light or code on his scanner.
Sometimes its also hard to accelerate to 100k. have to press harder on the gas. Ive always ran premium gas.

maintenance done so far
Trans & diff fluid alreedy changed @ 100k.

Things I did so far:
Cleaned the Throttle body & Change spark plugs to ngks.

now im thinking its either the fuel pump or the ect sensor.

if you guys have encountered this before or got a clue on what is it. please let me know lol im losing my mind on this.
I drive 100k a day for work and mostly highways so I havent been stranded yet so far. but on stop and go traffic its bad, keeps on restarting on me.
Thanks for the help!

Well, after watching the vid, I don't understand why you can't get a code reader to find the problem , with all that Christmas tree lighting going off on your dash board. The one thing
you stated though did hit home with me,,the heat gauge in the car is stuck on cold,,with that stated I remembered a problem like this hit me years ago. The sensor had givien up the ghost
and caused a lot of the problems your having. Not sure if that will help or not, good luck.

haha thats just the lack of tpms coz of winter tires/wheels setup and no seatbelt.

i really hope its just the sensor and not the fuel pump 🤣.

I tried to do a search.......I remember others having this issue and I thought it a weak battery was the problem. I know you said the battery tested OK. How old is the battery?

I'll keep searching.......

I initially thought its the trans recall known with the 2g rdxs rough idle. But with the 2018 its supposed to be fixed.

its the original battery still. So might aswell replace it due to age.

Just for giggles, remove the VCM muzzler and hook back into the sensor as from the factory. Might be the vcm muzzler has given up the ghost and not letting a signal go through it.

When you hook up to an obd 2 scanner what is your coolant temp? It should be 163 degrees Alease that's what my SVCM shows when i check on a fully warmed up engine. Its very odd that your guage doesnt move it should climb almost to half as im sure you know! As Poolman said try it without the svcm connected!

Also the way your tachometer is bouncing when you start is a classic Honda Idle Air Control Valve Symptom. Have you noticed that is constantly bounces during a cold start? It could be a faulty valve its located under the throttle body!
