2017 RDX - Intermittent Engine Noise

Hello, new to the group. We have a 2017 RDX with 61k miles, we bought it used with about 47k. A few months ago, I noticed a fairly significant ticking noise. However, it is not a constant tick, it comes and goes without any obvious reason. I have attached a video I took when it was making the noise, see attached (note the fan starts in the video). The tick goes away with an increase in RPM and seems to happen more frequently as the oil life declines (currently at 40%). I do not get an oil pressure light or check engine codes. Also only seems to happen when the engine is hot, not on a cold start.

I brought it to the local Acura dealer to show them the video. When I arrived, it was not making the noise but when I went to leave it started so the tech came out to listen. They basically said they have no idea what it could be, primarily because it comes and goes.

Any suggestions would be great.

It sounds like lifter tick, but it's hard to diagnose without looking into the motor. It's possible it could be other things like a bad pulley or something, but you need to have it looked into further.

Is there a distinct engine knock, is the oil level OK? If so, you need to remove the beauty cover and determine which head the knock is coming from, then remove the valve cover, do a visual inspection and check the condition of the springs on the rockers.

It would be very helpful to better locate the area where the sound is coming from, rear or front valve cover area or timing belt cover area.
