Fuel Filter DIY?

Is the fuel filter replaced at 60K miles? I can't find anything on the process and wondering if it is part of the fuel pump. Anyone change theirs?

No fuel filter service required. Never changed one on any of the 10 Honda products I have owned.

Typically they are fine for hundreds of thousands of miles... That is if you don't cheap out on gas or clog up the filter somehow.

I think the separate fuel filter located outside of the tank is a thing of the past. My last few cars the filter is integrated into the fuel pump located in the fuel tank. Gas stations have filters in their tanks so there is little chance of your filter getting clogged.

Yah I think every car now has them inside the tank. I've had some bad experiences with cheap gas on my previous vehicles.

Honda doesn’t recommend changing the fuel filter. Usually the filters are part of the gas tank. However, the RDX does have a fuel filter that is located behind the plastic in the left front wheel well. I am a little over cautious. So, I am going to change mine at 100k Mike’s. I bought the filter online from a Honda dealer.
