Coolant level at low side

Want to add coolant to reservoir, asked at part department, said the Acura Coolant is 1gal $22.1. Is that ok to add another brand or some water?

our engine is aluminium. you'll want to stay with a coolant that is phosphate and sulfate FREE!

If you really don't care much about your car, put whatever you want in it. If you do care, and want to keep it for a while, spring for the $22, and do it right!
