I have a 2014 RDX with Tech and have replaced nearly all of the interior bulbs with led's.
I can't figure out how to change out the factory supplied led map lights, they are dingy yellow as compared with the xenon white 6000k I'm using everywhere else.
What is the bulb or lamp type number that I can replace the with, and is it possible to change them out?

You can't replace those. They are embedded in the board.

 

kjsand1: Just a question for you, since you own the same model year. I just post this msg earlier "On my 2014 RDX w/Tech Pkg, my backup camera display showed brown in color when back up to green grass area." Do you have the same experience on 2014 RDX W/Tech Pkg.

 

what does that mean "Embedded into the board" ? Are they LEDs? Because they really don't look like LEDs.

 

They are but a warmer temp, perhaps 3000K. The bulbs (individual LED's) are soldered onto the board so you'll have to use a soldering gun to remove the bulbs... too much work for me to take on.

 

I hate the map lights. All my lights are 5k temp and the map lights throw it off. Other than unplugging, does anyone know how to turn off the map lights?
