Perhaps someone else has a possible solution. The right low beam lamp went out. I purchased a couple new Halogen bulbs (original 9004) and that did not solve the problem. I went to the left lamp and tried one of the new bulbs and it worked fine. I took the old working bulb and tried it in the right side - still not working. I tried all the fuses under the hood and all seemed fine with a multimeter. The plug is not melted and looks OK. Any ideas - what am I missing?

Are you getting any power to the plug?

 

I hadn't thought of that - will give it a try I would expect no power otherwise the bulbs would have worked.

 

No power to the plug....fuses under hood ok - driver side head lamp work fine?

 

Is the wire that goes to the plug still ok? Like is it tangled or cut up anywhere? Try following the wire and check that it's still intact.

 

All looks normal - the head lanp is on a 12" stub that feeds back to a larger bundle.

 

Check the relays, find a similar one and swap it to rule that out
