XM Weather Subscription

I subscribe to the XM weather data service which supplies weather such as radar, weather forecasts, etc. For the last month I have been receiving everything with the exception of the weather extended forecast which says “Data Not Available”. I have talked with the XM people and they sent a refresh signal twice but did not help. I had this same issue two years ago and the problem ended up on their end. They are now telling me to take the vehicle to a dealer and I refuse to do that because I don’t believe the dealer can do anything since it is receiving, just not the extended forecast data.

Is there anyone subscribing to the XM weather that is experiencing the same issue?

Yup, still occurring...my subscription ends April 14th. I will need to consider if I will extend. It is most assuredly on their end!

It just started working again yesterday. Maybe it takes a few days for the ping to work?

I was traveling to the state of Missouri yesterday when I noticed I was receiving all the data again. I knew it was on their end as it was two years ago...

It takes about 5 minutes to receive the weather data after the car is started. Also, the weather data will not refresh automatically, you will need to exit out of the weather menu and than go back in.
The weather data will be cleared when the car is turned off so you will have to wait 5 minutes every time the car is started even if you only turned the car off for a minute.
