Hello Acura Community,

im looks for help or options for repairing or replacing my radio Unit (Part# 39547 TX4 C31) - I just left the dealership today to diagnose a noise that has been constantly coming ON and OFF for the last few years. I have posted just the sound before - but now I know what part the sound is coming from

looking for ANY help or suggestions or hardware to replace it / third party units - really anything would help

Almost sounds like a fan coming from the radio unit - I will say though, after a service once (I imagine some sort of reset occurred - service was B1) the sound stopped and it was perfectly quiet for a few months - then it came back

please let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions
even any cars being sold for parts (if hardware replacement is the only option) some sort of software suggestions would be awesome too

It almost sounds like it is constantly acting like you're sticking a CD in it or something... If you put a CD or DVD in the disc player, does the sound go away?

 

Unfortunately not - but I agree - almost sounds like it’s trying to burn a Disc - cleared the HDD
No discs inside
not sure what it could be

 

The only other thing I can think of is that it sounds like a blower motor going bad, but you're saying it sound like it's coming from the radio/cd area so it's hard to tell.
