When we dial a phone number from an iphone connected to our 2016 RDX, the person on the other end sometimes will hear the phone ring, but when the phone is answered, there is silence. Sometimes the caller can hear the person answering say, "Hello," but that person never hears the caller's voice. We never had this trouble with our 2010 Volvo. When we asked the Accura service if this could be repaired - our car was still under warranty - they said, "That's just the way it is." They wouldn't repair or replace anything. So why were there no problems when we drove the Volvo? Same phone, same routes. We'll get a Volvo next time we need a car.

 

on the iphone, make sure you are connected to bluetooth of RDX and it is using IT as the speaker/mic as opposed to your handset. Try re-pairing.
