Does anyone know if there is some menu option that needs to be enabled to automatically have the screen change to night setting when the lights are on? The few times I've driven at night, the only way i could change the setting was using the Display mode button.

 

What I've noticed is that it's not the headlights position that matters, but rather the secondary sensor on the top of the dash that measures ambient light. I've had the headlights come on automatically, but it takes a darker level of ambient light to kick the display into "night" mode...... Not sure if you can set that or not - haven't looked.

 

On our 2103 RDX Tech, there is a setting that controls the sensitivity of when the screen changes from day to night mode.
