So we had an incident and the touch screen is now cracked. I purchased a a new and am trying to get the dash apart. I've watched every you tube video and they all start with the pieces already loosened, but that is my problem. I cannot seem to get the thing to pop off. It looks like there are 4 maybe clips on the bottom that need loosing based off my replacement piece, but I cannot seem to get the dash removal tool in there to pop them out. I've been able to get the tool all around the sides where the white clips are, but nothing seems to be happening. Does anyone happen to have a video of how to loosen the whole unit so I can replace the screen?

Thank you. I was able to figure it out yesterday. The trick was that in RDX you have remove the panel with the light and remove the 2 8mm bolts before removing the head unit. Everything i found online showed it popping out then removing the bolts, just for anyone else ever looking for this. For the new screen up and running this morning.

 

Great, glad that you got it done successfully. I noticed those two bolts in the Audio Display Removal diagrams.
