Bluetooth pairing problem

I am unable to listen to streaming music from my phone on my 2013 RDX. The Bluetooth on the phone will not pair with the Bluetooth in the car. What can I do?
Is my car too old, or my phone too new?
The phone is a Samsung S20+ 5G.
Dont really want to use the audio cable jack input. I want to stream music like I can in my other car.

When I had my S20 Ultra 5G, it connected to my car perfectly fine. Did you try to delete all previous phones on the car? I remember it took some time to connect my phone.

Hello,

I have the same setting (2013 Technology & S20+ 5G), and I hadn't any problem. It's also the only phone "connected".

Good luck!

Have you tried connecting another phone to your car? If you can, then at least you know the bluetooth module is working.

Also check if there was a recent update to your phone. Many times when people report problems like this, there was a software update to their phone. A simple Google search will confirm if others are also experiencing this issue with their phones connecting to the cars.

Good luck.

So I printed off all the instructions from the manual, and tried pairing, but no luck. Then I went to the website that lists all of the compatible phones that work with the handsfreelink and my phone was not listed. In fact, there were very few Samsung phones in their list.
I am going to call the Acura dealer tomorrow to see if they can walk me through it, or just see about getting a cord to connect it.

I found this article on common issues and fixes with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Bluetooth issues: https://www.technobezz.com/how-to-fi...etooth-issues/

Give these a try.
