Hey folks, I’m looking to setup Apple CarPlay in my 2017 RDX. I have briefly searched a few options. It looks like my options are NavTool and Naviks. NavTool has a terrible customer service and BBB rating of F-, which repels me to commit like $600 for the device.

Anyone else on this sub has experience with Naviks or other alternatives that can enable Apple CarPlay?

I put apple play aftermarket from NavTool and had it installed by a stereo shop. I am happy with it, Had it for a year,

 

What did it cost you installed?

 

I paid $175 to install. It took about 2 hours to do it.

Question, did you add a front camera and phone screen mirroring to your NavTool system? If yes, can you tell me what camera was used. I've asked this in other threads but can't seem to get a response.

i have not added a front camera. I am looking into now. I know the car play unit has front camera plug in. I will let you know if I go ahead and have one installed.
