I have a 2014 acura rdx wondering if anyone seen a double din kit to change the radio , i am pretty bored with the current unit . i had a android double din in my older truck would love to transfer to 2014 rdx. Can the 2016 head unit replace the 2014 unit ? just checking if anyone had knowledge?

I had the same question as you - I looked at eBay auctions for the 2016 head unit and the 2014, to compare the plugs in the back - some of them line up, but a lot of them don't.

From a fitment perspective, you should be good to go, but I think there's a ton of wiring harness adjustment to be done... and that's assuming that the amp for the stereo, bluetooth module, mic, etc. is the same across both models. Ditto for the climate controls. I don't know if that's the case.

If I could find a donor car at a local wrecker, I'd probably pull everything and give it a go. Figure you could always sell the spares on eBay and recoup your cost... but as it stands, I don't think it's really worth the trouble.
