2013 rdx and iphone 5s

Just wondering if anyone has any information if the iphone5s is compatible with the 2013 rdx? I live in Canada and have an iphone 4s. I receive messages and the vehicle reads them but cannot send them with that phone but don't know if it works with the iphone 5s.

I live in Toronto and I have no problem with my iPhone 5s and 2013 RDX with tech package (navi). I can receive text message, connect to Bluetooth for handsfree and play songs from the phone (iPhone music or 3rd party music app). One feature I wish it would work is to receive whatsapp message...

I got the iphone 5s and it works without a problem and receive text notifications on the nav. The only thing I cant do is reply and send texts through Bluetooth

make sure your notifications are turned on in the handsfreelink on your phone

settings > Bluetooth > handsfreelink > turn on "show notifications"

I think there is a setting on the phone menu on the nav as well where you have to choose to show notifications

Thanks. got it working. Was talking to Acura Canada and they advise that siri eyes free is now available as of June 2014 for 2013 rdx. Apparently it is about 40 dollars to get it installed and takes about 30 minutes. I called the dealer and he had no idea but acura gave me the bulletin number of r-3-14. The dealer apparently found it and I am taking the car in to Erin Mills Acura on Monday so we will see if they get it right.

Let us know how it goes and what additional features it would bring to iPhone owners. I might consider upgrading it as well if it is useful. Also would it work for iPhone 6?

Got the siri update installed yesterday. During the update the hfl quit so the dealer had to order a new one. After waiting 5 hours it arrived. They installed it and the update was installed and seems to be working fine. Its nice to be able to send texts or reply to those received. Seems to work very well. Nothing that siri does shows on the navi screen it is all voice command. Nothing changes as far as the hfl in the vehicle. In total it should be all done in about 40 minutes if there are no problems. The service mgr told me they have had issues with the hfl quitting during upgrading the software. It was covered under warranty but did take all day by the time it was completed. Of course you have to re pair the phone again once the installation is complete. If any problems arise I will post them but hopefully not. I have not tried the siri navigation but i cant see why it wouldnt work.
