Cool Running wires through Firewall

Hi All,'
Just purchased a 2018 Acura RDX Tech with only 15,000 miles. I am a Ham Radio operator and I need to install an antenna on the hood and run the Coaxial cable as well as power cables through the firewall. I found a couple of spots where they have a lot of wires running through but they look pretty tight so was wondering if there are any holes that Acura may have put in so the owners might run wires through. Also wondering if anyone installed the body of the radio under the drivers seat.
Thanks in advance for any help and stay safe out there.

i think there should other holes that are plugged up somewhere along the firewall. I'd look into using one of those before trying to squeeze another wire through an existing loom

RDX's are tight, not much room to play with. Driver side seemed undoable to me. I passed 8 gauge wiring underneath the passenger side glove box area. Beside the existing wires, I carefully drilled a hole and pop in a rubber grommet. Tight fit but easily doable.

A small profile mono block amplifier had no probs under the seat, but there are air ducts under there on my 2015 base model, so I moved it to the rear hatch area

It does say in the owners manual to not mount things under the seats to not interfere with the airbags/ sensors, but considering the bags are on the outter pillars, who knows, maybe some one else can chime in? Worked fine for me for a while, the amp had clearance under the passenger side and was nicely wired otherwise

Ham radio might be taller than amp, beaware of the seating positions (don't want someone else lowering the seat etc) but if it does fit (hopefully it does)be sure to lettuce know

If it doesn't, best of luck.i wanted to add some more gear, but decided not too because there just isn't much room at all, but get creative (maybe mount on side of center console with a cover, or theres more room inside the center arm rest)

Cheerz/ keep safe 😘
