Hello all, new owner here of a 2014 RDX Base AWD and really like the SUV. I'm hoping someone here can help. Our used RDX came with an Acura remote car starter which I'm assuming was added by the dealer because I don't think the base model has it included. Anyways, the remote start will not start the car. When I try it the display shows an image of the truck open. Other functions on the remote work (door lock and unlock). Obviously I've checked the liftgate and yes, it is closed. There are also no door/liftgate open lights on the dash. Any idea what might be wrong or what things I might check in troubleshooting this.
