How to program additional remote starter remote
I have 4th Gen TL and with keyless start/stop. So there is no actual physical ky insert in the car.
I am trying to program 2nd Compustar remote 700R to my car's compatible Compustar CM600 remote start system. Programming requires me to turn car from Accessory to ON and back 5 times within 7 seconds. To do this, I changed my car to neutral, pulled hand brake and turned off the car. This allowed me to switch between Accessory and ON. However I have not been able to program my new 700R remote.
Any Ideas, what am I doing wrong?

Reviving an old thread of mine, as I still have not been able to program my 2nd remote. I have tried leaving car in reverse as well as in Neutral. But I think since car is not turning off fully, (not in park position), remote programming is not working.
Any ideas?
