need new driver seat
Our '13 still has low mileage and a lot of life left in it. But it needs a new seat. The cushion support is gone. Is it possible to get a new driver seat for a car this old? I've looked on e-bay, but mostly they are used, or the wrong color. any ideas?

I read about needing seats often when I drove Mercedes. People kept the cars a long time and just wore them out. If what you need is new padding/covering, you might want to check a local auto upholstery shop. They really can do wonders. The seat covering material should be close enough to what you already have to be satisfactory. Prices may not be rock bottom, but I found them more reasonable than I expected.

Is the cushion or leather is gone? Any pictures?

Cruisin'
My 2015 RDX had the same problem at 74k miles. The actual problem is called “dead foam”, a common problem with cheap subpar material. You would never see that on a Lexus or BMW. I had mine repaired at a good automotive upholstery shop for ~ $250, they pull back the seat cover, slice off the bolster of dead foam and add a new one. They use a high density foam that will last longer than the car.

I'd love to have a new OEM seat for my car as well, but it's just because I'm weird like that, mine is in great condition.
I do wonder if the seats could be swapped right to left and just extend the controls outside of the seat.
