Goodbye fellow RDX owners...

Just saying goodbye to the RDX family, upgraded to a 2016 AWD MDX w/ Tech today. You all have been very helpful in here whenever needed. I now have to migrate over to the MDX side...lol

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy!

Can you share with us why you made the switch to the larger MDX?

Congrats. That Lunar Silver Metallic color sure looks nice. I wish the RDX has this silver color instead of the slate silver, which seems to have too much blue in it.

Don't see any downside with the upgrade. Time for a road trip now!

Thank you everyone for the kind words!

Chaptorial,
We switched because we're expecting our 3rd child in a month and decided the extra room will be needed and make it easier for us.

bzb123,
IMO there's no comparison to our 14' RDX (8k miles on it). The MDX is so much more quieter inside, ride quality is much smoother and at idle, you don't even hear or feel anything. Our MDX is equipped w/ SH-AWD & Tech pkg. The nav has 3d view and the LDW,BSW is great little options to have. I do think that the RDX has a much better and sharper display for the map/backup camera...that's the one thing I noticed right off the lot.

mrgold35,
Road trip is next week, lol...driving it down to FL and back. We shall see how it does on gas from whats advertised on paper!
