Front End/Steering Issue

Hi all,
I have an issue with the steering position on my car, where the steering wheel is off to the left when driving straight and when I center the wheel straight it pulls to the right. About a month ago I was making a three point turn on a slight uphill driveway and heard a pop in the front of my car. After the pop occured, my car drove straight as an arrow when I had the steering wheel completely level. The best way I can describe it is it felt like both sides of the front end were tight and connected well to the steering, almost like a brand new car lol. I did however notice the next day that my steering went back to being off to the left. My car has 107k miles on it, and I recently put a new set of four tires. I do get the common suspension rattle (and my suspension does feel relatively soft), which is why I'm guessing I may need to have my mechanic replace my suspension all the way around & check the front end. Does anyone else have a similiar issue or possible guess as to what it could be?

Might be a sway bar link , first guess. Get the car to an alignment shop that knows suspension's and let them know what happened. Unless you are a dyi' er .
