first service

took the wife's RDX in for the first service (oil change) and they found a sidewall cut on the passenger front tire and bit of rim rash. So much for a inexpensive service - but a good catch from the dealers service dept.

Seems pretty pricey, but time is $$

Great deal for a new rim. You may want to look into having the curb rashed wheel fixed as it will look good as new.

Can anyone confirm that they replace the engine oil with 0W-20? My understanding is that 0W-20 is only available in full synthetic or blend, which is more expensive. Some places (yes some dealers) just put conventional 5W-20. It should say on the invoice what kind of oil is used.

I had the oil in my wife's 2016 RDX changed (along with other items) and had the work done by a Honda/Acura mechanic in his driveway. He used 0W-20 Mobil 1 Synthetic.

I have WalMart put in Mobil 1 0W-20. I don't believe non-synthetic oil is available in 0W. By the oil minder, you're only replacing oil every 8,000-10,000 miles, so cost isn't that big a deal.
