Door edge film?.
I bought it but I haven't installed it yet. Not sure if I will after all. We had it on our CR-V but I don't know that it did much good. The door side molding or whatever they call it is probably more effective.
Is it worth it? How often do YOU bang your car door into other objects?
Most often, other people bang their doors into your car and it does nothing for that.
If a gust of wind catches your door as you are opening it and bangs it into something, it is unlikely that this film will help.
You can buy the same film from any auto supply store (PepBoys, Autozone etc) for a fraction of the cost.

I ordered them online, from Bernardi, IIRC, and installed them myself. For the RDX it was mainly the rubber mats which are pretty easy to install. On our CR-V I installed the door moldings and I don't remember now what else. The accessories are mostly lots less expensive mail order and most of them are fairly easy to install...there are good instructions available online. IIRC, the dealer installation for the mats for the CR-V was about $30...kinda ridiculous.

I hate to be a smart a__, but if you don't allow your door to come in contact with other vehicles, you won't damage the edge of your door (or the neighboring car) and it won't cost a penny.
I removed the door edge films from my 4 doors (It was included in the purchase FOR FREE along with the wheel locks). It was accumulating dirt and it wasnt looking very neat. I thought about the pros and cons and then decided to get rid of it for good
