Backup Camera between 2014 and 2016

Hi,

I am actually struggling to find a replacement backup camera for my RDX 2014 Tech (AWD) at a reasonable price. The dealer is asking for ~350 CAD which is too much in my opinion. I found some interesting deals in the US but for the 2016 RDX model. Looks like there is a slight difference in there model numbers:

My Backup Camera: 39530-TX4-A011
2016 Model: 39530-TX4-A11

Not sure if there were any design changes that would make the 2016 version not fit into the 2014 model. Anyone knows or can confirm if they are the same ?
Also not sure if the control software difference between the 2016 and 2014 would cause any problems.

Any help would be appreciated !

After more looking around, seems like the part for your 14 edition will fit just the 13 though the 15 edition, then they went to the other part number you posted, and that is for a wide angle camera, may fit or might now, but the price that is above, should save ya 100 bucks

If your RDX had a cam and it is not working, there is a know issue with the gaskets which may allow material (ie water) into the cam. My partner had her cam replaced (warranty) due to the gasket failure.

If it didn't have a cam...effermind!!

Mine did have a cam but the comprehensive warranty expired on my vehicle, i only have warranty left on major components (transmission, engine, etc.).
