2017 RDX Technology - Original tire specs
I've been researching the 2017 RDX Tech for the past few months and will pick up my new-to-me vehicle this weekend. It was a trade-in (lease) at a local Cadillac dealership. The original owner really took care of this vehicle. The dealer put new tires on 235/60-18 H-rated. I thought the RDX OEM tires were V-rated but I can't find the specs online. Tire Rack lists V- and H- rated tires when you look up RDX. What tires are folks putting on their 2017 RDX?
additionally; H rated tires have a maximum speed of 130mph. V rated tires have a maximum rated speed of 149mph.
no one in their right mind will take their car up to these speeds, so it really doesnt matter. Thus why Tire rack gives both H and V rated tires. More options for them to sell to you.

Thanks justnspace. I figured Tire Rack would show the correct tires. I wanted to address it with the dealer before I sign the papers on Saturday. They put Kumho Crugen Premium tires on. Decent tires.
I really wasn't worried about having issue with the tires. As justnspace stated, H-rated tires are up to the task for speed and handling for this vehicle. My concern is when I need to replace the tires and the tire shop insists on V-rated tires which can limit your tire selection and in some cases, increase the price of the tire.
I just bought this car last weekend and would have addressed it with the dealer then. (Cadillac dealership) But it all is good. It rides great and the tires will handle whatever I can dish out.
