I own a 2013 RDX about 2 months old with about 1100 miles on the car.

I first noticed about a week ago when starting from a stopped position, allof a sudden the Check AWD system light, the Check Brake System light, the CheckVSA light, and Check Power Steering lights came on.

The car drove fine and no change in the characteristics of the vehicleincluding electronic steering, braking or accelerating. I turned the car offand about 5 minutes later restarted the car, and the lights were gone.

Fast forward 1 week, and similar situation occurred again today. Slow accelerationfrom stopped position, and all of a sudden all the same lights were back on. Nochange in the way the car drove. I turned the car off after getting home, andrestarted it a few minutes later and the warnings were gone.

I am clueless as to what might be the problem. I would expect a better buildquality from a 40k car, than to have warning signs popping up with only 1100miles. Anyone else having this problem? Please help.

My '04 TL had some of those symptoms plus stalling at very slow speeds and turning. It took the dealer two years to figure it out. It was some kind of sensor or valve in the throttle control. Once they fixed it, like new. Thank goodness for the extended warranty.

Try the dealer. Could be as simple as a weak battery.

The good news is that if the lights go on - there will be codes that they can read when you get it checked.

And just because it's a $40k car doesn't mean it's perfect - my $65 Lexus LS460 did something similar, and in fact broke a valve spring and almost stranded me.

Electronic problems generally WILL show up in the first few days or weeks of operation, and everything can be fixed. Just take it to the dealer and get it sorted out. You probably won't have another problem.

Some additional symptoms... Every time brake pedal is pushed abs goes off despite speed, wet/dry roads and without wheel lock.

Good news... The service department dx the problem as the front left speed sensor after downloading the codes... I hope this fixes the problem...

update:

after the replacement of the wheel sensor, it appears the car is running good. No more ABS kicking on everytime i push the break pedals and the warning signs are gone.

on a side note, I have hardly driven the car since the fix, but i will keep the updates.
