Tranny Replacement

How many of you guys have had the fix put in for your tranny? Last Tue while running about 70 my CL Type S decided to down shift itself into first gear, not good at all. that was pretty much it and it for the ole tranny. I had it towed in to Acura and they glady repleced the tranny with the new fix. I have to be honest and say I think the car is 100% smoother with this new tranny, not sure if my tranny was just going bad for a long time but man what a difference. It also seems a bit faster now or maybe i was just glad to have it back after a week. Did you guys notice a big difference once it was replaced. To me it is smoother than when I first got the car last Feb.

I think the smoothness is most likely due to a new chip for an easier shifting algorithm. some have reported no change in feel or acceleration, while others have reported a loss in acceleration. I haven't kept up to see if anybody has dyno'd their new tranny's to see if there is indeed a drop in HP.
