just when i thought i had a reliable car...

ok so im driving and my gears start slipping. then check engine light goes on. then the exclamation and VSA light and D5 starts to blink. WTF! so should i fix it at my boys shop for 1200? should i call acura? will it even run the same as how it made me fall in love with it? is replacing it worth my time or is it time to jump on a different car??? please some advice. this sucks

 

I had the car for 6 months since June at 95000 miles. now at 99500 miles.

Why didnt u do your research B4 buying.?? If you had you would have seen that the CL was NOT a reliable car .. I personally went through 3 transes and like 5 coilpacks due to misfires.. You should have came on here B4 making your purcase,...

95000 when i got it 6 months ago from a dealer that gets cars from auctions. got it for 5500. ran good. just randomly went bad a few days ago.

well my buddy did a drain and refill. also cleaned sensors A & C. check light is off. no more gear slipping. how long would i possibly last?

 

sell it ASAP if you can, it will be back. Drain and refill is known to hide the problem for some time, but it will be back. Otherwise you need new transmission.....
