I never used SS and drive like an 80 year old man...and my car has been sitting with a blown tranny for over a month now waiting for a replacement.

I never abused the car,

As far as abuse goes, it has no effect on the tranny blowing or not.

I drive mine HARD and it made it all the way to 25,000, so I don't think driving it hard accelerates the failure.

my tranny was leaking fluid but rather than dick around trying to find where it was, the dealer decided to give a new tranny altogether. i never noticed a shifting problem even with the leak. btw, the service dept. at the dealer noticed the leak at the 15k check up. how's that for honesty.

dont drive my car hard at all. Tranny went out at 41,309 miles. this new one seems smooth , but sometimes gets confused switching from 1st to second. Hope this one is not going already , only been 1100 miles since I got it back .

Broken tranny

4pumpedCL

File a Lemon Law and get a new car. Maybe a 6 speed manual. 30 days is redicilous for a tranny replacement. Good luck.

I am just doing what I think I am supposed to do with a car - DRIVING IT.

Same way as I drove my 96 Buick Riviera or 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP or 99 Chrysler 300M or 2001 Lexus RX300. All those cars did not have any problems with my driving style.

After all this is what the "S" in TL-S is for - driving enthusiastically. If you want to drive like a granny, get yourself a 318 if they still make those.
