What is the latest on the lawsuit? Does the outcome of this only effect those who were involved or all CL and TL owners?

I wouldn't mind posting the link ..but is that legal .? .I don't want to post if it would be against the rules here or otherwise ..let me know for sure and you can have the link.

'that girl' can you send me the link via PM - if the site will not allow it?

I believe that there should be no problem with you posting it on the board. This forum is for discussion and to help all of us deal with the transmission that Acura has given to us.

I'm not sure its public info ..I don't know how I found it ..it was by accident and when I purposely use the same link ..excluding some items ..it can't be found ..but if the other guy feels comfortable posting it ...I guess he can..

For the record here ..I did NOT post any links ..I private messaged a member that asked for the info in confidentiality ..something he probably could have found online by himself ,but for him I gave it privately ...The links have specific peoples names on the docs and that is what concerned me about posting the link myself ...Again it was not me...

Folks ,I have learned the hard way ..you have to be careful about what you do ...I'm just trying to cover my A$$ !

I apologise if I sound harsh...but that comment is extremely

. . . and? 9% of $90,300,000 for the attorneys, $290,000 in costs & $45,000 to each of the class reps. The rest of us suckers get 9,000 miles or 9 monthe added to the extended warranty. My heart bleeds for you.

Class Action Paperwork Received (I'm opting out)

All:

I received that pathetic settlement class action lawsuit information. I'm definetly opting out. I put waaaaay too many miles on my car to let them offer me a pathetic 9,000 miles or 9 months. I can put 9K on my car in 5 months. That doesn't make me feel any more comfortable about my ticking time bomb.

I plan to opt out so I don't negate my rights, and when my car hits the point of no return (again), I'm doing my own lawsuit in hopes that they can provide a settlement that meets my needs.

I remember when I was looking at a used C70 and was comparing my CL to it, boy do I wish I just went with the Volvo C70 drop. I might have better luck. But I felt like buying an Acura (Honda) was a good move for reliability, boy was I wrong.

just so you know i'm studying law and you can always bring suit after you negate your rights to sue because by law you may technically not give away any of your rights. it pretty much depends on the judge if they feel sympathetic to your cause on whether they will honor the initial agreement.
