try to reset the battery for half an hour, it might work, I have this problem oncce a week, all I do is reset, and it goes back on shifting to all gears.

so you've had the CL sitting pretty all this time in order to just have that mileage. it's time that you take it in to the dealer.

Taking mine in to dealer tomorrow. 66K, this'll be the 3rd tranny. It's hesitating to find gears. Reverse is ruff and seems like it's bogging. Don't mean to hijack your thread but are most dealers hesitant to fix your car if you didn't purchase it there? I'm bringing mine in to Pleasanton cuz the service is much better than where I purchased in San Jo. Also, my 2nd tranny went out at 14K but I didn't have mods put on car till 30K (headers, intake, springs) Are they gonna trip about that?

You can take it to any Acura dealer. And you should be ok with the mods unless they can prove the mods caused the problem.

Can't say enough good things bout Acura of pleasanton, no issues with my mods. Car needs another tranny and they're replacing seatbealt unit (srs light) also under warranty. They gave me a nice Camry as a loaner, not bad. They actually want the Camry back and they're giving me a 06 TL to play with while my car is being repaired. Can't wait to check out this TL.

Thumbs up for Leith Acura in Cary, NC for smoothly and quickly handling the replacement of the tranny in my 01 CL-S. They also replaced my seatbelt unit which was causing the SRS light to be on. However, while they were in there they noticed that the front hydrolic engine mount was leaking and replaced it for the cost of the new parts with no labor charge.

They gave me an 06 TL as a loaner. The only positive observations I have about the TL were that the brakes were excellent and it is a very quiet ride. Otherwise I was underwhelmed, and very happy to get back into my CL-S.
