No its fine, im running 18x8.0 with 42 offsets and on a dropped car... not even a tiny rub

i was thinking about some C2 "styled" rims as well, glad to know that i can go as large as 18s with out rub on a dropped car!

I had 18X7.5 +42 C2's & rubbed on big dips, speed bumps, or with people in the car.

It must be a conservative drop. I'm running 18x7.5 +48 offset and I'll take a picture of how it BARELY clears

Either a very conservative/no drop or it's slammed so low that the camber is way off and the wheels are tilted inward. Like this / \

what he said.

i had 7.5 +42 offset, dropped on Teins to 2 finger gap all around and rubbed with people in the back seat (as well as on larger dips and dips on turns)
