What tires do you ride on??
what tires do all of you ride on?? either stock or custom? and post your sizes and opinions!
I ride on Continental Contiextreme contact 215/50zr17 for stock.
On my 18's 225/40zr18 Yokohama Parada Spec II's.
Conti is a great all around tire especially for the winter months here in NY, but the Yoko's have an unbelievable dry/wet grip for superior handiling and ride comfort!

Yokohama AVS ES 300 215/50/17 (or 45...I forget)
Unbelievable tires...after 2000 miles still infinitely better that the stock tires...and look pretty sharp too

Rated #1 overall in high performance tire test by EVO magazine..... (British)
#1 rating on 3 season tires by consumers at Tire Rack site....
Biggest improvement as a single investment in ride, handling and stopping power on my 2002 CL-S.

Summer - 225/40/18 Khumo Ecsta KH11 on 5Zigen Copse 18"
Winter - 255/55/17 Blizzak WS-50 on Mille Miglia Spiders 17"
I'm with ya in Westchester county... but I decided on dedicated snows for the winter. That way I could get great summer tires and still be safe in the winter.

Well..
Still running on my Yokohama AVS dB's in 235/45's, but needing some new tires quick (I feel a camber kit, front at least in my near future).
Unfortunately the AVS Db S2's are going for 200+ at Discount Tire (S2's are supposed to be different compounds, but how that justifiies the price differences is still a mystery to me). I might be going with the AVS Summer Tire (ES100's??) but I don't know if i'll be happy with the road noises coming off of these after experiencing the quite ride and performance with the AVS dB's I have now.
Anyone have any suggestions??

I'm riding on four NEARLY BALD Falken Azenis ST-115 225/40/18's.
I don't know what I am replacing them with come spring.
BLIZZAK's going on for the winter any day now.

By spring time, my intention is purchase a new set of rims, so I had the Parada Spec II's, great tire, good price, very sticky, but I was looking at the following:
Parada Spec II's again
Nitto 555
Nitto Neo Gen
P Zero Nero
BFG KDW II <LOVE the looks BUT does not carry our load rate
Yoko AVS ES 100
I am leaning again on the Spec II's

Kumho Ecsta MX 225/45/17
Damn sticky, seriously aggressive tread pattern, excellent grip in the rain, stiff-stiff sidewall.
Downside--they get a flat spot overnight and need a few minutes to warm up before they get quiet. I love 'em though.
