To those with aftermarket wheels---Help Please !

Can I get some information ? I would like to know the size of your wheels and tires(diameters, width, and offset)so I may make an informed decision with my choice.
Thanks for any input,
Mike

Offset information is what I'm wanting the most help with. Going from a 7" wide, +55mm to 7.5x?mm, 8"x?mm

I put some 18x7.5 Racing Hart C2000's on mine... the offset is 44. Any less than that and they would not fit. The inside of my wheel comes so close to the brake caliper in the front that you can't even slide a credit card through the gap. But it doesn't rub. Hope that helps.

Brack,
My street wheels are 17x8 with 44 offset, tires 225/45/17.
My track wheels are 17x8 with a 48 offset, also 225/45/17 tires.
Both clear everything just fine. This incl. comp. springs and Koni's.

I have 18x8.5 with 235/40-18 the offset is plus 55. I have no problems with the tires or rims. The offset is very important.

I'm really surprised that 8.5" with +55 isn't interfering with the steering components on a CL-S; that combo is about 18 mm (3/4") further inside than the original wheel.

I agree. Offset is extremely importent, the closer to +55 the better; but 235's on 8.5's with +55 offset!?! Doesn't seem possible!

Sorry to doubt you, but this seems like some kind of error. If not, I offer 1000 "We're not worthy's" in your general direction.

Can you post pics and/or be more specific about the rims and tires used?

Thanks

mcdanjw,
Are you refering to the rims in the below pict? If so then please verify because I've been trying to find the specs on the rim and finally you have helped with the offset. Thanks
