heeltoeauto.com is probably your only hope besides finding something used.

Or you can do what I did and just get a tap and die kit. I have a 7gen accord shifter and couldnt find a adjustable height short shifter so I just threaded the shaft another inch or so down and cut the top off.

That just lowers the shifter ball, it doesnt actually shorten the throws.

Right this is what I wanted then my next step is to get a short throw kit just an idea if anyone wants to shorten their shifter. Also my shifter was ridiculously tall so this was a must for me.

P-Spec was the greatest, thank God I got mine, I change the height every once and a while. I also grinded some of the stem to get it to sink as low as possible and not hit the frame when going into reverse. LOVE IT!

I bought this shift lever extender to try out at track and maybe street too along with my neuspeed ss adapter. Should be easier to shift without taking hand so far off wheel.

Here is a review.

posted this in the main forum already but:

http://www.jtccustoms.com/store/show/CL%202SS

don't blame me if it doesn't work.. but RSX guys have already installed it.

also FYI, he sells shift extenders if you want that. his stuff is machined steel, which is why it is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than what pspec or others are offering (in aluminum).

[QUOTE=b3lllv;12768524]Anyone know where to get one since neuspeed is disco?[/QUOTE}

I installed a Neuspeed shifter a while ago and the shift throws were not much shorter than stock. It did however make the shifts more notchy. To address this I got a shorter sitting heavy knob. This reduced effective lever arc throw a bit more and helped to smooth out shifting. It felt okay. But what really helped the shifting feel was the installation of Corsports metal shifter bushings. After that w/ a bit of help from Amsoil synth fluid, it shifts like buttah. If I miss a shift now its purely because I screwed up 'cause I cant; blame the shifter anymore.

What would you say you're driving impressions were? Notchy, smooth, like factory? Loving that knob by the way.

It's hard to explain but I was say slightly notchy and smooth at the same time. It feels sportier. I like it a lot better than oem especially during harder shifting. Thanks it's has some weight to it also for how small it is.

Nice, make sure you get the Corsport aluminum cable shifter bushings, those are the single best mod you can install, makes slushy shifts more snickity.

I already have shifter bushings. I went with the hybrid racing ones there better because the larger one has a spherical bushing instead of a solid one so it's smoother.

ya the guy who installed mine warned me of that but the bezel moves a little bit when putting the car in reverse. It does slightly but it does not bug me. It does however feel and look 10 times better than the stock unit, even though the shortness of the shift was ok, the length of the shifter is really nice.

You have to trim the surround so the shifter doesnt contact it.

Just bought a neuspeed ss from member here and installed it tonight. Shifter feels less sloppy. 1,3,5 feel shorter but 2,4,6 feel not much different. The tightening of the shifter made it worth the purchase. I also ordered the jtc customs shifter to try it. Has anyone put the neuspeed together with the jtc? Will the neuspeed fit the jtc?

This may be a bad question, but just to cover everything:

Is there any reason an aftermarket 3rd gen TL short shifter would not fit? The transmission is identical, but maybe the center console is an entirely different height. I just thought I would ask if anyone has tried it.
