Its all depends on the offset of width of the rims and tires...

18 x 7.5 45+
235/40/18 (MAX!!) will not rub either!

Oops...my bad. The Comptech web site actually says "...About 1.25" lower in front
and 1" lower in the rear...". I measured mine before and after and I got a 1" drop on both rear wheels and a 1/5" drop in front. But I did do Koni shocks at the same time, so maybe that added the additional .25"

DID you measure right after the install? Or two weeks after.. cuz the springs need to settle in.

I measured right after the installation. But I just measured again, and the results are the same with 1/16" on all four wheels. And the conditions were the same: full tank of gas, and cold tires inflated to 34 PSI.

As for the settle...I could be wrong, but I didn't think that was the case for the Comptech springs.

Hey where in NY are you? I've seen a few Silver CLS's around when I'm back at home.

I'm in the suburbs of Albany. Those dirt roads rock for racing cocky IS300s and new Nissan Maximas (my neighbor has both, and thinks that his cars are the work of God)

It all depends on your offset and tire/wheel dimensions.. This is what I have:

225/40/18 with +48 offset and Comptech Springs... NO RUBBING at all...I take some crazy turns...and it's fine.
