Coilover problem

Ok, so I recently bought some used tein basic coilovers. The night after I recieved them I was cleaning them up and noticed that one of the shocks doesn't want to work correctly. It seems weak compared to the other ones when I push down on it, and it doesn't come back out on its own. I am really hopeing that I am just a noob and it isn't a big deal, but for some reason I have a bad feeling. Here is a video I took to help show what my problem is. The problem coil is the last one shown(out of 4)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6V46Tf3fao

Any advice on what the problem is and what what I can do to fix it, if anything, will be appreaciated. Also do the other coils look fine? Thanks

yeah most likly blown time for a rebuild if possible, also oily was that one compared to the others, it seems like it has lost some of it's fluid (and pressure charge) which is why it goes down half way without any resistence

I hope the guy that sold them to you on ebay wasn't "kushsmoker"...
He roped me with some used SS's. I think he was banned for screwing other members too...if he tries to come back on I hope he changes his screen name to the more fitting, "polesmoker".

It def. looks blown. At least you realized this before wasting time installing them.

How can I go about fixing this? Can I send it to Tein to be fixed, or is there an easier way?

I would venture to guess that basics can be rebuilt too. At a cost, but probably not too bad if you factor in that you probably got a good deal on these.

Alright, I did some looking around and I can buy a new shock $225 shipped, or I can have the blown one rebuilt for $120 + additional parts. I'm not sure which way to go here. I don't have a problem with buying a new shock, but then I'll have the busted one laying around forever. And if I send in the blown one, I'd probally end up sending in the matching one with it to be inspected aswell. Any advice or insight would be appreaciated. Thanks

to send in the other one would be correct then cause they at least be repaired/replaced in pairs for an axle, but the best would be all 4 at once but not necessary
and i proably get them rebuiltcause then you proably be able to get it custom valved and to get $105 in dollars in parts would mean the parts are $$$$$$ which i don't think would happen, but you would have to pay the shipping there though, but it should not be that much though especially since you can do ground cause your car is still driveable
