I would say coilovers are far better because of tuning capabilities...

im not really into havinga a sporty feel....i would like kinda a better ride than what comes from the factory.

It all depends on what you're looking for... If you want a ride close to stock with a subtle drop, then get springs. If you plan on slamming it or fine tuning the rest of your suspension, then get coilovers. You can always adjust the height and dampening with coilovers.
