I getting ready to install an Eibach Prokit. The instructions included say to trim the bump stops by 30mm. This isn't a problem with the rears, but the front presents an issue. The bump stop looks like three donuts sitting atop one another. The top most is wider than the lower 2 and this is the piece that would be eliminated. I'm concerned that the dust cover would not seat correctly. Any one install Eibachs themselves? And how did you handle this? Thanks
When I helped my friend install KYB AGX shocks and Eibach Prokit on his '00 Type-R, we cut off the narrowest part of the bump stop. Do the instructions specifically call of the wider part to be cut out?? If so, that's the opposite of what we did and it worked fine.
