20in Rims Vs. 19in
I am trying to decide between nice 20in black rims or 19in black rims. The 20's will fit on my car, but i think that the ride will be so rough and the tires wont last very long. But the only reason i am considering the 20in is because i know the owner of a shop and i can get 20 inch rims and tires for $1999 plus tax. That deal is almost too good to pass up.
What do you guys think.
I have a black on black CLS AT. Windows tinted, and the grill is now blacked out.
Thanks

I don't believe 20's go on easy without rolling the fender @ least.
I would go w/ a nice set of 19's... but if you got the cash to throw and the streets to allow, it's always nice to say you're rolli'n on dubs.

How are the roads where you live?
What are the specs on the wheels? (Very Important)
Are they the same style? 20s have a limited amount of styles that fit and look good on our cars.
More info is needed, plus wrong section.

i had that same offer. 20"s for $1900. too much risk involved imo. got 19"s instead. go for 19"s. they'll look just as good and you wont have to drive so damn careful and slow.

The selection of wheels that fit our car in 20 inches is VERY limited, but if you can find one, go for it.
Not my personal taste, but I'm more into subtlety and performance.

We have a 20' x 8.5" wheel with a 52mm offset, forged one piece which will be lighter than the stock 17" wheels. those tires will have to be 225/35/20 to fit, and that will give you a pretty aggressive ride, without rubbing. That will also match the overall rolling diameter as stock.
chekc the sig for details.
