19x8" Offset Question, Yeah Yeah, Again

First of all, would 19x8" wheels fit without rolling my fenders (with proper offset)?

Secondly, what would fit better, 42mm, 45mm, or 48mm offset?

I will have Tein Basics iinstalled and about a 1-2 finger gap with the 19s.

TIA

i hope this helps i have 19x8 rims with a 40 offset and i had to roll my fenders i only really rub on really big dips in the road so i would think you wont have that trouble with a higher offset.

If you want less work, stick in the +45/+48 and up range. I have 19x8 +45 with 235/35 tires all around, plus eibach pro kit drop (1.5 finger gap all around). My fenders are not rolled. The car rubs in the rear on hard corners/big bumps. I probably won't have the problem once I roll the fenders, but tire size could play a part in this too.

225/35 19 will be thinner and have a little tire stretch, which some seem to like...the roads are bad here, I have enough trouble keeping my wheels protected with the 235/35s. Make sure and take that into consideration.

More pics Lippstuh, how'd you pull off the low offset? What tire sizes are you running.

Nevermind Lippstuh...found the thread about all your mods, I see the fenders were shaved. It looks good.

thread jacked.... yeah the vs-xx were my old 8 and 9 fitment, my new fitment should be here next weekend.

anyways tires play a big roll, just run 225/35/19 and you should be able to fit any of those offsets. camber + height plays a roll as well.

Cool. I'd like to stick with 235s though. So a higher offset would be better suited?

Yes you want +48 or higher. With that you can run 235's & not have to mod anything.

Sweet. So Ronjon it is! I saw a set of wheels that were +42 that I liked, but I don't want to modify anything to make them fit.

Thanks for the help guys.

Ok, I have to revive this thread. I found a set of rims that are 19x8 and +45mm. Would they rub with 235/35/19 with a finger (or two) gap on Tein SSP?
